Earthworks has secured an agreement for an ideal location along Highway 99 in a San Joaquin Valley agricultural zone in Chico, California, perfect for establishing an Earthworks Hub. This site offers convenient product distribution and proximity to forested areas affected by climate change, providing readily available biomass. Permitting is expected to be straightforward under Zone U for industrial agriculture.

The Hub will utilize an existing building for retail operations, administration, and shipping, with 3-phase power already onsite. Local labor arrangements are currently being finalized. Additionally, the site is close to the Sacramento River, where decades-old, dredged materials, unused and piled along the riverbanks, offer accessible rock dust feedstock. Initial testing is underway to ensure the safety and suitability of this material for our operations.

Here is a way to support and participate in the project.
